Located just 10 kilometers from the pulsating center of Milan and a short distance from the Tangenziale Est exit, Segreen Business Park emerges as an emblem of innovation and sustainability in the office space scene. The transformation path involving the Segreen Business Park has taken the entire complex from an energy-intensive building condition to a model of energy efficiency and environmental friendliness in line with the needs of cutting-edge businesses. Attention to the quality of living space is expressed through the creation of an urban plaza, the installation of large windows, and the enhancement of the surrounding greenery.
The project was developed following the strict criteria of LEED, a prestigious international system for certifying the energy efficiency and ecological impact of buildings. Segreen Business Park boasts LEED Gold Environmental Certification for Building X and LEED Platinum for Building Y, the latter representing the top of the energy and environmental rating scale.
The buildings feature a careful design that takes solar orientation into account, and the use of low-emissivity glass in the facades, free of edge pillars, ensures optimal management of acoustic and thermal comfort. Office interiors show extreme flexibility and modularity, with raised floors and suspended ceilings aligned at 150-cm intervals, efficient lighting with DALI-type control systems, and highly efficient and controllable air conditioning systems.
The use of sustainable technologies, such as geothermal energy by harnessing groundwater, and conscious choices in terms of soft mobility and plant biodiversity, reflect Segreen Business Park's commitment to environmental protection.
The project's success has been recognized with numerous awards, including the 2010 Real Estate Awards for Best Green Project and access to the finals in the Best Refurbished Building category at the 2015 MIPIM Awards, consolidating Segreen Business Park's position as a benchmark in the field of innovative and sustainable office space in Italy.
