New York City's Meatpacking District is known for its dynamism, compelling history and hip atmosphere, a cross between tradition and innovation. Against this fascinating backdrop rises the majestic 412W15, a new 13-story office building resulting from a collaboration between Rockpoint Group and Atlas Capital, with the creative genius of CetraRuddy Architecture.
Located across from the famous Chelsea Market in the Meatpacking District, the 20-story skyscraper spans 130,000 square feet, featuring a curtain wall of dark metal panels and insulated glass that define its aesthetic.
Initially conceived as a hotel, market fluctuations led to a change of use, resulting in the construction of a commercial building. This building represents the tallest structure in New York's Meatpacking District, featuring a curtain wall system specifically designed for this project
The building façade features casement windows and an understated, elegant glass and aluminum facade. The unitized glazed Facade is prefabricated and shop-glazed, assembled into complete prefabricated units, a flexible system that allows each unit to be produced and assembled independently. The opaque facade, featuring three-dimensional black vertical panels, blends harmoniously with the adjacent historic structure on 14th Street. Complex paneling geometries in the upper floor give the building a unique appearance.
In the heart of New York City's Meatpacking District, where there is an air of vibrancy, history and trendiness, stands 412W15, a massive 13-story office building. The project is the result of a synergy between Rockpoint Group and Atlas Capital, who entrusted the architectural design to CetraRuddy Architecture, a firm known for its creativity and innovation.
