NATIONAL ARCHEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF REGGIO CALABRIA

The National Archeological Museum, in the city of Reggio Calabria- internationally renowned because of the permanent exposition of the famous Bronzi di Riace- has been renovated: the intervention of AZA has been fundamental to create the perfect exposition ambient for this Italian jewel.

The rooftop of this area has been made with a particular glazed structure; the fixing and anchoring system in steel has been designed to create a solid but light construction that works as roof and also as floor. The transparency permits a perfect natural light filtration inside the roof garden and the insert in the overhead room creates a décor architectonic and a design element.

RESIDENZA GRAND PALACE

“Residenza Grand Palace, reborn from the renovation of the former Hotel Palace, is one of the landmark building in the city of Lugano.”

The architectural project for this renovation wants to create an element of transition between the old and historic center and the new part of the city. In this building we could find a perfect balance between old and new style, in a dynamic relationship of form, space and materials. The new interior facades are realized with a ventilated load-bearing wall, covered with large format panels in aluminum powder coated with special paints.

ACQUAPARCO “SPLASH & SPA”

In Ticino, on an area of 10,000 square meters, there is the Aqua-Park “Splash & Spa” Tamaro.

It is composed of pools of all shapes with different features, restaurants / bars and areas dedicated to relax and wellness, all under three domes with particular architectural form.

The AZA group was responsible for the realization of curtain wall and doors, paying particular attention to the environment.

PIAZZA GHIAIA

In a context of general redevelopment of the historic market square in Parma fits the new steel and glass roofing.

The metal structure is done by circular columns branched (trees) which support main continuous windy beam, rest on these secondary beams rectilinear to form a grid with very light slabs of different shape and size.

The skin covering is made of laminated safety glass, and alternate silk-screened area, fully transparent areas and areas with photovoltaic cells for the production of electrical energy. Specific terminals in painted aluminum allow the positioning and the fixing of the glass plates following the curved shape of the metal structure.

LE GUYOUT

Located in the eastern suburbs of Paris (Montreuil) in the context of urban redevelopment, Assicurazioni Generali wanted to create a building comprising two structures at directional use.
The buildings, with a complex architecture, are characterized by aluminum and ceramic claddings, interspersed with glass wall and glass shapes. The colors, chosen by the architects of Hubert Godet Studio, can give a touch of uniqueness to the buildings, placing them as a point of reference into the surrounding area.

LANDI RENZO

The new Technical Center is the completion of the Landi Renzo SpA firm in Cavriago, which seals the partnership with AZAINT- who had already performed the realization of the directional building.

The facades are made with an alternance of curtain walls, provided with a shading system, and curtain with walls in composite panels. Outside the main entrance has a special metal structure with a shading system with horizontal blades.

ALMAG HEADQUARTER – BRESCIA

In the ALMAG Headquarter the work took place within the existing facilities and close to plant in operation, that’s why a special consolidation work and reinforcements were required.

The facades have been made with the stick facades method, using random alternation of glazed windows with aluminum plates, that work as rainscreen cladding. The facade has been also integrated with a motorized internal shading system.

The linear and clear Studio Altieri design is an example of customized facades. All the particular windows, chose from Giulio Altieri, have been created to satisfy the Architect needing of extreme details care, with a sophisticated light control system.

All the windows are fixed with concealed hinges, to leave the walls perfectly smooth. Inside, the concept of light full space is respected with the help of glazed balustrade.

PARMALAT HEADQUARTER

Eng. Luca Bergamo is the author of the redevelopment project for Parmalat Parma’s headquarter.

A simple and linear design has been joint with the high-tech windows system. The double skin glazed façade guarantees the thermic regulation of the inside offices, thanks also to the motorized shading system, with a sensible energy saving.

NH MANTEGNA HOTEL

Hotel 50 meters above ground, which completes the group of the three buildings, that make up the “Mantegna center” near the fair of Padua.

The project signed by TECNOSTUDIO develops with horizontal modularity, alternating areas in visual selective glass to opaque areas in gray tempered glass. The property is located in an area of heavy traffic, so particular attention was paid to slaughter acoustic façade.

MANUS

The AIG studio designed the redevelopment of an industrial area in Bolzano, the Manus building is placed in this site.

The big pillars all around the perimeter support the upper volume, lighten from the external side of the double skin facade made with metal panels framed from Prodema wood panels. At the first floor all the perimeter is made with stick facade with shading system.

The DUC is the new city of Parma Directorate Municipal Offices, located at the limit of the center. This new building is made with prefabricated beams and pillars, the two braces cast on site have a matt finish on three sides and the glazed on the south facade.The second skin is made of glazed windows that in the lower part end with aluminum grids and shading system.The roof, over the colonnade, has a curve shape that ends with a brise-soleil system, in the upper part it continues with a gray aluminum cladding.

TRANSFER OIL

In Colorno, in the province of Parma, there is Transfer Oil, one of the largest independent producers of thermoplastic tubes in Italy at an international level, with more than 35 years of experience. The project included an important extension that led to a doubling of the area used as offices, trying to create environments that can be an inspiration for the people who work there.
Inside, in fact, you can admire spacious and bright open spaces, as well as a corporate restaurant open to both employees and external visitors, confirming the vision of the company that people are considered the most important asset.

The project was realized for the Emma Spa, a company in the transport sector. This project was part of the new integrated logistics center.

The volume of the executive offices is broken down by surfaces, where plaster panels of insulating coat frames the main facade, facing south, dominated by elements that identify it by technology and transparency: the curtain wall is characterized by the golden reflections of the high performance glass and by the presence of light-colored vertical sun blades that reduce the solar contribution in the summer period, ensuring at the same time the passage of light and heat in the winter period.

KAMPILL CENTER

The Kampill CENTER is located at the “north gate” of Bolzano, in Kampill, a few minutes’ drive from the city center. The polyfunctional complex is extended over a land strip 400 meters long, near the national road (SS12), the motorway and the Brenner railway, the most important transport link between the north and south of Europe.

The facades are made with two different systems, the front one is made with the double skin system, the back façade with an aluminum rainscreen cladding.

The new factory of Mapei Group, world leader in the production of adhesives and chemical products, is located in Mediglia with reception function, services space for workers and canteen.
The technology used in this project is the cutting edge and offers a great visual impact, thanks to the special alternation of aluminum and glass. The outdoor areas are multifunctional and framed by the main plant, which was designed with a special shape that gives the impression of rising out of the ground.
The interior lighting, thanks to the transparency of the AZA structural façade, in the evening hours and into the night creates a striking visual effect.

PALA EXPO

The Expo Palace restoration project had two fundamental aims: to requalify the spaces and update them both at a functional and technological level, and to marry the monumental architecture of the original building designed by Piacentini with innovative contemporary elements.

The result is a perfect harmony between the monumentality of the building and the contemporaneity of the architecture.

Greater visual comfort is ensured by the mobile ceilings containing the light fittings, especially designed by Michele De Lucchi, which are versatile, unifying all the spaces and supplementing- where necessary- the daylight entering through the skylights.

HILTON GARDEN HINN

NEW YORK 


Situato al 136 West 42nd Street di New York, l'Hilton Garden Inn è un'icona luminosa e uno dei primi progetti di AZA US.

L'Hilton Garden Inn, un edificio di 175.000 metri quadrati che ospita 282 camere su 36 piani, è un hotel moderno, con finestre dal pavimento al soffitto.

La lobby dell'hotel, con vista su Times Square, si trova al quarto piano e vi si accede direttamente dalla strada con un ascensore che si trova nella sky lobby.

Un ristorante e una terrazza si affacciano sulla scena sottostante.

La facciata è una facciata continua con colori variegati di blu su pennacchi.

L'edificio si innalza fino a una sommità grigliata che copre un piano meccanico.

I pannelli opachi e le vetrate orizzontali creano un contrasto cromatico sulla superficie dell'edificio. Le finestre apribili sono state inserite dall'interno nella superficie chiara/scura della facciata.

L'intera facciata ha richiesto la progettazione, l'ingegnerizzazione e la fabbricazione di unità di facciata continua unificate Schuco, una facciata per negozi e un piano tecnologico.

UNIVERSITA’ DI INNSBRUCK

Ubicato nel centro storico della città austriaca, questa realizzazione ha lo scopo di riqualificare una vasta area compresa tra la stazione ferroviaria e Maria Teresa Strasse, cuore pulsante della città. La nuova biblioteca si integra, con il suo andamento sinuoso, nel rigore dei volumi squadrati delle costruzioni destinate alle aule.

A completare l’intervento, una palazzina residenziale per studenti, attività primarie commerciali e un direzionale destinato a società private di formazione culturale e professionale. L’intervento è stato realizzato in associazione di impresa con la ditta Intercom srl.

L’ABA Business Center con i suoi 80 metri fuori terra è l’edificio più alto completato in Albania: questo centro, ad uso residenziale e commerciale, ha una superficie di circa 30.000 mq ed è situato nel quartiere residenziale e commerciale più importante di Tirana.

Il progetto ha un design moderno e dinamico, caratterizzato dall’utilizzo di frangisole in alluminio colorati che, oltre ad una funzione energetica, determinano lo stile unico di questo grattacielo.

Ducat III a Mosca, è un moderno edificio di 14 piani progettato dallo Studio Skidmore, Owings & Merrill che si afferma come primaria presenza nello skyline di Mosca.

Ducat III è certificato BREEAM secondo lo schema di certificazione edilizia sostenibile, ed è uno dei più importanti “Green Building” di Mosca. La facciata a montanti e traversi è stata costruita in conformità ai requisiti BREEAM standard per il risparmio energetico.
