Kirchberg, the beating heart of European institutions, has welcomed a new architectural icon that captures attention from the very first steps into the neighborhood. The result of a collaboration between architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia and M3 Architects, the Infinity project is distinguished by two sculptural towers connected by a commercial gallery topped by a green roof. The first luxury high-rise residential core in Luxembourg, Infinity Living draws inspiration from the lavish residential towers on the other side of the Atlantic. With private concierge service, a monumental entrance and 150 high-rise apartments, Infinity completely redefines the art of living in Luxembourg.
AZA oversaw the cladding of the large tower of the Infinity complex. The intricate and complex façade system houses numerous loggias that are skillfully integrated into the whole. Adapting to the architectural cuts and inclinations of the tower was a significant challenge. Some surfaces have positive inclinations, others negative, requiring custom solutions for each angle. The custom design also had to consider water drainage, ensuring efficient operation in every situation.
The complex project combines commercial, residential, and office spaces, creating a plaza at the Porte de l'Europe and a new streetcar station. The connection between the adjacent European Court of Justice and the Philharmonie Luxembourg is another key aspect of the intervention.
At 27 stories, the Infinity complex is the tallest in Luxembourg, marking an important step in the urbanization of the capital and European administrative district. The design concept includes two green roofs that fold organically to connect the twin residential towers and the office tower. The project will be overseen by Belgian real estate developer Allfin, which will ensure that the timetable is met.
Infinity is not just an architectural complex, but a new era in the luxury urban experience in Luxembourg. With its combination of innovative design, functionality, and prestige, it promises to leave an indelible mark on the city's urban fabric and the lives of its residents.
