OUR ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

ISO 14001 Certification

What does it mean for AZA and our clients?

Commitment to sustainable progress is of paramount importance to AZA, and a green policy is central to our priorities. ISO certification is an integral part of this commitment, ensuring that we meet the technical standards necessary to comply with specific benchmarks.

ISO 14001 is an international standard to which organizations can voluntarily adhere. It applies to any type of organization, public or private, and establishes requirements for an environmental management system.

For AZA, following the guidelines of this standard is essential. We are committed not only to high quality services and products, but also to sustainability principles and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) values, which are increasingly relevant in a modern business.

Sustainability is not an add-on, but an integral part of our business approach. We recognize that environmental sustainability is closely linked to economic performance, and we are constantly working to strike a balance between the two.

In 2021 we reached an important milestone: ISO 14001 certification for our Noventa Padovana production facility. This recognition confirms our commitment to being on the cutting edge without compromising our values.

The growing demand for sustainable buildings drives us to fully embrace the concept of sustainability. Our experts are constantly researching design solutions, eco-friendly materials, innovative technologies and zero-mile transportation strategies. The goal is to reduce the CO2 emissions and energy consumption of buildings throughout their life cycle.

We believe that the most effective way to reduce a building's energy consumption is at the design stage. For this reason, AZA's skilled resources carefully examine each project and provide our clients with zero-emission design advice. We offer specialized assistance in obtaining international environmental certifications, such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method).

Our commitment to eco-friendly building design is also reflected in our headquarters. Here we have implemented major energy-saving measures, including adjustable motorized horizontal blind systems, a geothermal system to exchange heat with the ground, a high-efficiency façade, an automated lighting system, underfloor heating, and a photovoltaic system that covers the building's entire energy needs.

But our efforts do not stop there. We have initiated projects to reduce paper use by digitizing production lines and raising staff awareness. We are also reducing our environmental impact by optimizing travel and carefully managing our vehicle fleet.

In short, ISO 14001 certification is a tangible commitment to the environment and sustainability for us and an important step in our journey toward a greener future. We are proud to contribute to a better world through our dedication to a green policy.
